Matching Levels of Use to Prevention and Pre-Treatment Approaches

The chart below matches levels of use to appropriate prevention and treatment approaches. It is meant as a guide. The level of use may change for an individual over time, and the approaches to their problems may vary. It is especially important to reassess the situation when a woman experiences life changes, such as childbirth or future abuse.
